On this date, Nawakwa Lodge will continue to shape the 5-mile hiking trail along with the ADA-compliant activity shelter. The lodge was awarded a National OA Service Project matching grant to build the trail and shelter, and now we must maintain it. This is a great opportunity to participate in a service project that will literally leave a legacy to those youth of tomorrow. Please submit this form and reserve your legacy.
Due to the physical demands of this service project we will need to limit participation in this event to Arrowmen who are at least 14 years old, and all participants must complete and submit Parts A, B, and C of the standard BSA medical form. A list of supplies/gear needed for the event will be sent with travel instructions several weeks prior to the event. We will also limit participation to only 100 Arrowmen, so register as soon as possible to ensure you are a part of this unique opportunity. Check-in will be from 7:00 – 8:00 AM, and we expect to be done by 5:00 PM Saturday. Lunch will be provided. Friday evening camping is available if desired, please contact TrailBuilding@Nawakwa.org for details.
