The Arrohattoc District Advancement and Recognition Committee will host the 2016 District Recognition and Gala celebrating the accomplishments earned in 2015.
The gala will begin with a potluck dinner where each family attending, depending on their Unit type, is asked to bring something to share at the dinner. Cub Scout families are asked to bring a dessert and Boy Scout and Crew families are asked to bring a side dish. Your dish should feed your family and at least one other family. The main dish, bread, and beverages will be provided by the District Advancement Committee.
Our dinner will be followed by recognitions that include Arrow of Light recipients for Cub Scouts and the Eagle Rank for Boy Scouts. Various other recognitions will also include the Unit Volunteer Recognition Awards. The highlight of our evening will include the presentation of the District Award of Merit to worthy scouters that were selected from nominations made by our own volunteers.
The dinner will be held at Bethia United Methodist Church.
